Default Gauging Interest

Anyone interested in a 1998 Camaro ex cop car. This car was a ex Oregon State police car with the B4C option. The body is straight, I just did a tune up on it and a dyno tune. The car is in very good condition with the exception of what the state did to the interior which means that they messed up the console, and installed a roll bar. Owner is thinking $6000 for the car with brand new Goodyear G3D3 tires all the way around.

I attached a few pictures that I took with my cell phone, one is the underside to show that there is no leaks from the engine or transmission. Also the transmission was recently replaced. I dyno tested the car and it made just shy of 280 to the wheels, and mind you this is a automatic car so if it was a stick car the power numbers would be hot, and also after doing some part throttle tuning the engine was heat soaked.

It sucks but they have to do it. MDT, shotgun/AR rack, radios etc.

what is the milage on it? Does it still have its back seats? Is the roll bar still in it? Any way we can get some pics of the interior? Would this guy be interested in a trade for a Volvo?

B4C option is a basic z28 camaro with upgraded suspension, heavy duty alternator (for lights, siren, radios), bigger radiator IIRC. And I think it got a hair more power than a standard Z28 but I can not verify that one. Much like the Crown Vic "Police Pursuit Special".

It has 156k miles on it. I can personally tell you that the car runs very good and doesn't make any weird noises of any kind. The owner has had it since 90k miles and has used nothing by Amsoil in it which is changed every 3k miles. He put in the new transmission as well. It is all stock with the exception of the new AC Delco Iridium spark plugs (stock replacements) and new MSD wires, and a SLP lid in the air box. I drove the car and its tight, also the seats are in excellent condition with no tears or rips, and the rear seats are like new because they were not even in the car when the OSP had it in their posession. But the customer got the seats when he purchased it. This car was located in Baker Oregon and saw dailey freeway miles as a traffic enforcement car. Everything works in the car, the AC blows cold but one dash vent is a little messed up, radio, heater all power accessories are in good operating condition.

Just curious if it was a stripped like the CHP used to get for their fox-body Mustangs, or if it was fully optioned.......and I think he answered that already. Not sure about Oregon, but in Cali there was no more power for the B4C's, but being inherently lighter with less options, they tended to be a little bit quicker.

And I do NOT miss those Crown Vics....what fat sleds they were.
