Default Question.

I got tired of waiting for my Arizona registration and plates to come in, so I went and paid 17 bucks for a 45 day temp tag. Will this be good enough to bring my car to CCC?????

I don't see why a 45 day tag won't work...per the rules, it's not a 'trip' permit. It's a temp tag, you get that until your real ones arrive...

I don't see a $17 Temp Tag on the WA DOL website. That's why I questioned it. The only thing I can find is a non-resident temporary permit for $15 and I assume that you paid a $2 subagent fee. That's still not registered, it's a temporary.

Did you pay the sales tax? That would be a lot more than $17 and would be a permanent registration.

Sorry, I want to see you race too. But I don't want to have to argue with a racer - that you beat - and defend your temporary tag.

My .02 is if you can show proof of purchasing the plates you should be allowed to race.

I believe if you can show proof we can allow you to race. Otherwise, as Don said, it can put US, the CCC officers in a bad position. Volunteer work is a thankless job....

Okay thanks, I will get ahold of ADOT, and see about them faxing me some paperwork, to prove that it is on its way at least... Crossing my fingers that they will get it here in time, or they have something to show for it. lol.

temp should be ok,

the rule was written for those 3 day trip permits,

you normally get a temp (30 or 45day) tag when you buy a vehicle
