Yes, he is. He showed me his oil cooler setup. I might have to think about something like that. During those last 2 laps on the video I had my check engine light come on. It went away after letting it cool off, and I couldn't find anything amiss, so we're thinking it may have been an oil temperature warning. The car feels really good at 6800 rpm and the new clutch is holding up wonderfully.

So that is where you have been hiding out these days.... Glad to see you are enjoying yourself Autocrossing.
Trying to find the right platform for enjoying as my GTO is fun but just not the platform I want to mess up while trying to have a little fun in the corners. That is what I acquired the TA for so just a matter of time....oh yeah and MONEY...hehe..
Take it easy and be safe...

The Saab fits the bill nicely... it'd run similar 1/4 mile times as my 'Vette did (Now that I've added a couple of mods to it), but it's powerband is higher in the RPMs, so it should do a little better in the passing areas of the track. My 'Vette ran out of steam after about 4000 rpms, so passing people didn't happen as quick as I thought it should.

The Saab did surprisingly well... haven't touched the suspension or brakes yet, but I think stock for stock the Saab would have hung with my C4 everywhere on the track except 3a-3b and 5a-5b, where the body roll was way too much for my liking.
I wasn't expecting much from the car in stock handling mode, but it was competent. Before I go next time though I'll upgrade the brakes & tires, along with getting stiff shocks, lowering springs, and a body brace to help with the roll. Once done with those things, I think the car will do very well, all things considered.

I didn't have near as much fun as you guys, but it's a major step towards be able to. I'm sure it won't be ready until next year, but I'm dying to find out if the new suspension setup works any better than the other car did.
If I can get the F1, FMIC, P/S pump & radiator in, it will be back on the road today.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Thanks for your help Doug & Ellis!!!
