Default Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout - November 3rd Atlanta Dragway

It's time for the 12th Annual Southern Super Heavyweight Shootout - SSHS12!!!

This event is open to all domestic cars and trucks with a MINIMUM Race Weight of 4000# Car+Driver.

Got a TBSS that hauls? Tired of having some M&M wannabe in a 5.0 spank you?
Got a 5th Gen and a beer gut that tips you over 2 tons?
What about a 1st or 2nd Gen CTSV? Think you can run for Big Dog? We have some ancient 94-96 Impala SS's that want some action. Come see if you can lay down an 8 Second Pass... you heard me. See a twin turbo Impala SS run in the 8's, and 4000+#.

5th Gens, CTSV's (heck STSv's have run before), TBSS, Silverado SS's, LS-swapped heavy Chevy's... Come On out!!

Seriously, this is a great event for any car or truck that can hit the weight mark. We will be running several classes this year, please check out the info below and visit:

Power adder rules dont make any sense for heads up .400 pro tree. Expect turbo 5.3s to be all top 16 slots.

Good point... How many Turbo 5.3's plan to show up? Maybe we'll shame them into running Big Dog If the situation warrants it, we can make adjustments to the classes. Right now, we are looking for 50 registered cars/trucks.

Thanks for the feedback!.

If you can get 16 turbo 5.3 cars and trucks out... I'll buy you a beer.

27 Entrants for the event so far, and not 1 LS powered car besides mine. Where's the mob of turbo 5.3's? No 5th Gens?
Whaddaya all Skeered of a bunch of LT1 Impala's and Ferd Crown Merawda's?

Nobody...?

Just a tick over 50 days.
