Hello drag race fans!

COFBA is pleased to announce a fun day at Norwalk Raceway that you won't forget!

Last year we held 2 events, one in May, the other in October, with around 50-60 cars each time.

NO LONG LINES, NO WAITING!!!

To put it plain and simple, Norwalk Raceway is one of the best tracks around, it's a VERY sticky track, traction is not an issue there.

Here is a form that you will need to fill out and mail. All the important information needed will be on the form. It's in .pdf format so you will need Adobe Acrobat reader to view and print it.

Cost will be $30.00 per racer, spectators are free. We will only accept: cashiers check, money orders or Paypal as payment, no personal checks.

This event will be limited to the first 100 cars and all cars are welcome.

Since Norwalk is having a friday night event and a saturday event, they will spray the whole track before we get there.

At 12:30, they will respray both lanes the first 100 feet with VHT

I'd guess about 25-30 right now, but Bill would know for sure. Last year we had 50 cars and there were times when no one was even running! He will cut off app's at 50-60. You will not wait hardly at all and run a lot if yu want to.

Well we might have a 4-6 cars going. We just need to see who all is going before we sign up.

Actually we will limit it to 100 cars this time, but still, no long lines and no waiting.

We are having are club meeting this saturday and I expect about 10 more forms. As of right now, I have 20.

I also posted this on the SLP board and it's posted on the Camaroz28.com board as well.

I'm sure within the next week or two, I'll get flooded with form, which is fine by me.

Tommorrow, I'll be checking our club PO BOX and I'm sure more will be there.

If we do get almost 100 cars attending, Norwalk will open up their concession stand for us!!! Yes, you will have to pay for your own drink and food at the concession stand.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Don't forget, please mail it out by the end of the month, and fill it out completely!!!

It will probably take you about 4 hours.

You would have to take I-90 east. According to Yahoo maps, it's about 280 miles for you.

If you really like to drag race, this is the track for you!

Bill I was at the race last year and it was great. The only problem I am running into is that my car is still apart. I would love to come but i dont want to send the $30 in untill I know i can make it for sure. Is there anyway I could possibly pay at the event??
