1995 and 1996 Camaros had it, maybe even 94's and pretty much the same for T/A GM offered that color for those years there about. My buddy has a 96 z28 that has about 40k original miles on it with that particular color.

http://www.corvettepaintcodes.com/

After doing a little search myself and seeing some pics it was offered from 1990 to 1993 on Vettes but all the proper codes are there for yea.

Only up to 81 based on cowl tags could that be done and on registry has been established for LT1 (93-97), I have seen color database for 98+ and 81 and down.

I have seen many examples of Quasar Blue met featured in magazines such as GM High Tech pef.

This car was not a repaint.

Code on my door (97 t/a) is U5378. As stated earlier about GM high tech performance, mine was in the november issue last year. I have a little bit of info on the color history and stuff so if you need any help pm me. Heres a few pics of my car including the one that was in gm high tech, and some more recent once since the repaint and firehawk hood.

This is Medium Quasar Blue on my '94 Z28. Car is at home and I am at work, otherwise I'd post the paint code, but I'm sure with a little searching on the internetz you will be able to find it.

What I am saying is there is not internet doucumentation of colors in relation to make and model for the mid 90's Camaro.

I cna check the RPO but just like the people who posted, that color has been around for a while.

Historically vettes get the new stuff first and it trickles down to the fbodies,

The ONLY color not to trickle down was SOM (Sunset Orange Metallic), they had some different ver. in the last C5 and early c6's between Daytona and Atomic but thats bout it.

looking at your car real quick:

Pontiac Formula
A4
cloth seats
3.23 rear end
manual seats 4-way adjust
driver's side air bag/seat restraint
rear defrost
t-tops
4-wheel disc brakes
traction control
power locks
remote/keyless entry

leaving out quite a few codes, but you get the point...

pretty good, the cars got alot of wierd oddball options i havent figured out yet. Ive broke down all the rpos... for some reason even though it was a t/a it got the cloth stripper interior and firebird door panels. Not sure why, i havent seen many 97s that way.

yeah i hear you. im trying to break down the '95 TA coupe i just got. production wise, it's 1 of 2263 TA coupes, 6spd made in 1995. cant break it down further by color (black) or the fact it has leather seats (graphite interior). i need a better pic of my RPO codes than what i have...

see if these links might help...

the thing i like about quasar and no pics do it justice is the range of flop it has from day to night. Sometimes it looks bright as hell, others it looks dark and sinister... pretty cool
