Yeah I'm still getting it at my shop. I think they quit making Perfect-it III, maybe that is what he was thinking.

I like to use 3M Trizact paper for sanding factory clear coat. I use a 6 in DA with a soft pad in between and a spray bottle to keep it wet which also keeps the dust down. It won't take out all the orange peel but it will do some minor leveling and take out small scratches. It works great and I never worry about sanding through the clear coat. I finish it up with 3000 perfect it.
