Z28/2002,

Is it hard to get as great of a look as yours or does it just take a lot of practice? I am debating on taking mine to a pro, or doing it myself. If learning to paint isn't that hard, I want to do it myself. I already do all my own mech and building work, I would just like to learn body.

Also, what kind of setup do you need to spray your own stuff. Like how big of a compressor and so on?

A friend of mine painted it and it was the first one he had painted in a while. We had a Craftsman compressor but I don't remember what it was rated at and we used a low pressure gun. I had the entire car painted for less than $30 but my car wasn't done with automotive paint

It held up very well(the date on my camera was wrong) for the year I had it after she was painted. It only started to fade in a couple small spots and it should have been sprayed with two coats the first time instead of one but it looked awesome.

Lol

It wasn't even automotive paint; it was Rustoleum Outdoor paint that we thinned down

And no it wasn't garage kept or even parked under anything
