Default Asking for ideas for paint scheme/stripes/design. . .

Alright, my 2001 Camaro Z is black and I've got a Sunoco hood that needs painted. Currently I've got Smoke-Grey (like cyber metallic grey) calipers and same 10-spokes with red brake pads in the calipers. I'm considering making my rear center panel the same Smoke-Grey with my lightup "CAMARO" staying red. I like the idea of stripes but don't know what I want to do. Asking for ideas. I've got an SS spoiler I'm fixing right now as well and even considered making that, the hood and the rear center panel ALL Smoke-Grey. . . Thoughts? Thanks

Duff

i think it depends on which hood you have, but i would say go with a single stripe(wide) in the cyber grey color. IMO i think darker stripes look better on black cars. Pics of the car and new hood would help people out with opinions.

Oh yeah, i would definitely do the single stripe if anything. To tell you the truth, the car looks great even w/o any of that stuff

I looked at the pics of your car in your profile, its nice without any of that stuff, that hood needs nuthin but... its your car and if its screamin at ya to make some color changes my only advice would be to incorporate body lines, it helps color changes flow nicer together. Good luck either way

I've got a rear panel (CAMARO panel) getting painted the same smoke grey as the wheels/intake/lid right now and I've cleaned up the trans prior to reinstall and hit it too along with the bellhousing and diff cover. Diff is painted gloss black, and the aluminum driveshaft was polished prior to reinstall. Predominantly red suspension/chassis parts underneath so it's starting to come around. I'm liking the 35th stripes painted onto the hood idea or something like it. If anyone is good w/photochop, hit me up with something please. Possibly tinting the windows again inside a few months. . . if I get a job

Oh, i've got one of those OEM SLP bowtie grilles and chopped the bowtie out. . . making it 1 bar straight across and considering the same color smoke grey on it. Thoughts?

nope, quit the job. they had a hard time paying the 80 Indian workers (only $50K each month for all 80) so I threw on my cloak of rightousness and told them I quit. . . or something close to that.
