I have custom painted bikes many times with that color and there is no black that compares.

yeah cobalt blue. I would use half the bottle of concentrate for a gallon. Even if you add the whole thing you wont mess up, the black will eat it up.
Cobalt blue concentrate= KK05
Black= BC25

Hi all.
I hope some one out there has an answer.
I painted my 1933 vickey body( not the doors) around 15 years ago.
I used dupont croma base factory pac G9900S this is a base coat -clear coat.
Now 15 years later I am painting doors, yes I did save some paint. but sad to say
not enough. So I bought same color G9900S factory pac black. I painted doors did clear coat and hung drivers door -Polished front edge and paint is just a little off. Looking at the difference I think the old paint is a blue-black and the new is a brown-black. I also painted sample plate withe new paint and then painted 1/2 with old paint(edge to edge) did clearcoat and Just as I thought. You can see a differance. So to day I painted doors with old color(blue black) and I am running out of color. I need enough paint to paint hood with corect color.
I will paint hood with new color (brown black)and try to paint last coat with corect color.
I guess what I am looking for here is anyone with some 15 year old dupont croma base black or info on when and if dupont did change( blue black -brown black) Any thoughts???????
