I'm going to be getting a Patriot Red 94 Z28 soon and want to repaint it somewhere down the road and was looking at other shades of Burgundy, I saw a beautiful Burgundy color on a 07-08 Lexus IS 350, Any one else have pics of any other Burgundy paint jobs?

 

There's a nice burgundy on the 04-05-ish Eclipses... almost candy-like.

 

repaint it patriot red but use a lighter primer or metalic silver under it patriot red is a transparent paint i did my trans am in it and now it goes from dark maroon close to factory to a candy apple red color depending on amount of sunlight

 

inferno red on the dodge Ram is nice as well..

 

Depends how dark/purple you want it

Also Tri Coat reds are really popular as they give way more depth to the paint color, but there are still some fantastic reds that are more cost effective and look almost as nice.

BMW Royal Red, and Calypso Red are really nice rich dark colors, both have quite a bit of pearls

Mazda 3's new red is also a nice high metallic darker burgandy

 

Start looking at paint cards or some paint companies like House of Kolor have paint "dabs" that give a great idea of what it can look like.

 

Head to an automotive paint store and look at there color chips. They can usually custom tint something for you also.

 

house of kolor is nice but it take a lot to cover it even

 

Check out Martix FX , or ALSA paints. They've both got really nice colors. My 2002 WS6 in in the paint booth right now. They've both got some really nice paints, from metallics, candies and pearls. ALSA is also the company that has the chrome paint. They've got pics of 50 cent's chrome Lambo, a chrome Hummer, and much more. It's all about what kind of price range you want to be in.

 

Yeah I know ugly car but the color really caught my eye when I was shopping for a new DD back in '06. The pics dont really capture how the paint looks, in direct sunlight it looks really nice

well u can go with cayenne red metallic like my car its some what of a burgundy
