So on the LT1 T/A's, the hood kinda looks like a heat exactor, except the vents are fake. I do hate fake stuff, so I was wondering, is there any hood's that look like the factory one except functional heat extractors?
If not, has anybody tried to do this? I was thinking about it, it'd be something different but not retarded, and I think it'd probably help with my underhood heat from my supercharger as well.
I'd like to do something different with my hood, but nothing tacky, and I really don't want a WS6 hood.

I did that w/ my non-functional Fiberglass Knock-Off Ram Air hood with a 1" hole saw (on the inside of the hood) - it dropped the IAT readings 10 degrees!

Hope this helps! We took the plunge, but no Firebird guys ever did. Maybe you can try and see.
