Default Painting FAST 92 mm Intake

I'm going to be painting my FAST 92mm Intake. I want that stock black look. Would that be the satin black or flat black? Thanks for the feedback.

I would think satin.. But you could always paint other various parts in the engine bay to make it all look like stock..

I'm thinking Satin as well, Flat is gonna have more gray with that metallic deep sheen to it. The Satin will keep all the extra light from going in it. +1 for Satin

Yea I think I'm going to go with the satin color. I haven't been able to find a satin black from dupicolor though. I've got dupicolor primer , and I've always been told you want to keep the same brand for primer and paint.

satin is what you want.just make sure you prep it right prior to paint prep is key to a good finish/end result.

Thanks Tals, I researched the forum here on a good paint job, its going to take awhile and alot of sanding etc..... but I think it will be worth it.
