Default Female drivers strike again

Someone backed into my car about a month ago, a witness said it was a woman in an older "acura or mercedes or something" who then fled the scene. Haven't got it fixed yet, just remembered I still had the pictures on my comp.

Been putting it off getting fixed as I'm only working part time while going to college and I prefer to dump my money into going fast . Anyone familiar with body work/painting have a ballpark figure as to how much it would cost to fix?

I can't give you an estimate but I'm pretty sure you can reach most of those spots from your trunk, so you can bang it out and make it look half decent.

That exact same spot was hit on my camaro in October. It cost me $450 to fix.

Get that fixed bro..sucks hit and run..******* bitch! Needs to be Kicked in her baby maker. Should be pretty easy to fix, If you cant afford to take it to a body shop..get a hammer..body hammer obviosuly the best..but take the panels out of the trunk and beat it out a little..it would look a lot better than what it does now..

Indeed, I went into BestBuy to get a cable for my ipod, came out and I think I cried a little in the parking lot. I literally had the car maybe a month and a half when it happened. When I parked I even took care to park like 5 spots away from anyone

Exact same thing happened to me. Just replace best buy with mall. 5 spots away from everybody on a near empty parking lot. (weekday afternoon so it was pretty dead)
This past wednesday .

Passenger side though. Its in the shop right now, 300 to have it back to the way it was. Other places wanted close to 800....

I was sad as well

Should have it back tomorrow or thursday.

Sucks when **** like this happens

be carful if you hammer it out! don't hit it to hard, you have to work the dent out slow and evenly or you may stretch the metal. if you end up streching the metal it may end up costing more to get it fixed @ a shop. ive been a body tech for 14 years now and the last thing you want to deal with is is an oil canning (streched metal) problem.

^^^^ thank you^^^^^^
stretched metal is the worst to try to fix, if you listen to that dude that said "pound it out" keep this in mind like this tech said it will cost you more money becasue you "pounded" it out your self

Don't you have uninsured motorist coverage in your policy?

That will cover hit and runs.

This, but something just bugs me about someone who hit's and run's. If someone could see the driver Why The F@#K didnt they get the Plate Number? No one in the country has any ******* honor anymore and no one wants to live up to their mistakes. Ill admit I backed into someone with my Truck once, but their car was so damn little I couldn't see them and they had pulled in after I was already in my vehicle. My insurance covered the damages.

If she ran, she either.

A) Had no Insurance, DL or Expired tags
B) Had a Warrant and didn't want to deal with police
C) Was a CracK Head
D) All of the above. Like most of Society these days

Does anyone else get annoyed when people can't recognize cars?! All the time I see **** on the news to look out for a "late model sedan" wtf is that?

Don't know how much to fix just be sure to use a reputable shop the last thing you want to do is have it fixed cheap and have it full of bondo or paint problems. good luck.

quick update before I leave, I called my insurance company and they sent someone out, he said I would get a check for probably close to a grand but it wouldn't raise my rates. I knew I was paying 900 bucks for something.

Sucks man, women drivers get cheaper insurance, and why? Monday a college girl drove through a stop sign, up a driveway, knocked down my neighbors garage door and stopped inches before the livingroom wall! Her excuse, "I was texting". You can't have and take care of your cars for other peoples ignorance. Gl with the repairs.
