Default Guys who cut up their wiper cowls.. come on in..

Just curious to see what your end results look like after cutting your wiper cowl. Anyone incorporate the weather stripping back into it??

Thanks guys

fuel: that's looking sweet

SparkyJJO : Could be for many reasons. Most guys I've seen usually cut it up to make room for a taller intake or just more room in the engine bay. I plan on deleting my wipers and the cowl just looks wierd how it is. Just trying to get some ideas on some different looks.

.....weight reduction also

collier, are u going to eliminate the plastic cowl piece or get an extended hood?

it would look like *** if u didnt keep the plastic piece or go with an extended hood

also, cutting the cowl eliminates mounting points for the plastic piece

I cut up the plastic cowl part to fit my VFN hood and then I cut some aluminum and placed it over the metal cowl under the hood. I'll get pics of the aluminum piece later

The car is currently Patriot Red.....but I'm leaning toward Venom Red Metallic that on the Viper. Here's another view!

Looks good. I like the black engine bay.

How is it as far as washing your guys's cars. Does the water just pour down on the engine? I'm on the fence for cutting/deleting my cowl for this reason. Is this an issue or what??

I've never noticed it running down onto the engine, it looks like it just runs off the hood and down the alum. rails on the side. Hope that helps you out
