how to fix a crease dent on the hood
back in feb a big tree limb fell on my hood. it made 2 long oval shaped crease dents. it was just like somebody hit it with a baseball bat. how can you get these out? i tried a toilet plunger, that didnt work. i was thinking of trying out the dry ice method but i heard this doenst work on certain dents.
the dents are right above a support beam on the lower part of the hood, so i cant get to them to pop them out.

Bondo should never be used to fill dents, unless very small. I think the rule of thumb is nothing more than 1/8" deep, but even then that's too much IMO.
If I were you I'd use those little weld on pins and a slide hammer to pull the dent out and get it as close as possible with that. Then lightly hammer it to shape if need be, then use some bondo to fill in and smooth out the small imperfections.

You want to most likely grind the paint off and put studs on it and pull the dent and work the dent until you like the way it look then put a layer of bondo then sand and repaint , pdr is more for hail dents not huge dents, you going to have to repaint the hood no way around that.

And with streatched metal putting a stud gun on it isn't the best idea. Heat is only going to make it worse unless you are heat shrinking. This doesn't sound like one of those situations though.
