Default new visual mod

I call it the "Hit and Run" visual mod

Moron decided it was a good idea to make a left from the middle lane without signaling. If I didn't hit the gas he would have smashed into my door and my fiancee' would have been injured.

If it didn't happen on Queens Blvd and my fiancee wasn't in my car I would have chased the ************ down. I turned my back for a second after running to him so that I could go get my phone and the ****** jumped in the van and took off.

NOT a good idea, I did that & called the police while I was chasing the guy & I gave the cops my info & location and also the "hit & runners" plate & truck description. I was then told to pull over & they would get him, they had a car in the area. Then I was told (After I pulled over like they said) that they couldn't do anything about the other guy but I was charged with leaving the scene of an accident & threatened with reckless driving.... This all came in the mail a couple of weeks later. All this because I was the victim of a hit & run & decided to chase the bastard. 11 years later I still remember his plate #.

Yeah I'll post tomorrow once I get an estimate, but I am pretty sure it's going to cost $600+ easily

Queens blvd is full of morons.

Body shop told me it's going to most likely cost double what my other side cost ($500). So I'm looking at an easy $1,000 to fix it correctly. I didn't notice the guy hit my wheel and now my tire is getting shredded....

That's an easy repair that's practically all labor. Search around, you can find a high quality shop that's having a slow week to do that repair for $750.

Make sure that the repair sits for a week in the sun in primer. They may try and tell you that's not needed since they want to get paid faster, but trust me , if they paint it the next day or two days later, you will see scratches sunk in the paint in a few months.Black paint gets very hot in the sun, and shows everything.

That sucks man, glad it wasn't worse. I would fix it for around $750 in my shop.

Yeah I know The guy I am bringing it to paints a ton of high end cars and he repaired my car before and it came out great.

The only reason it's most likely going to be close to $1,000 is because of the tire and the wheel.

That's pretty messed up that you can get in to trouble chasing down a "criminal" just for the sake of identifying them!

Rear bumper, Tail light, rear side marker, antenna, quarter panel, quarter trim, inner wheel well, right rear wheel, new tire, new paint and labor.

Honestly I have no clue LOL
