Nothing.
Not for 30 days at least. The paint still needs to fully cure and if you wax it in that time it can cause issues later. That's what I've heard and been told.
After that.... I have no clue but I'd like to know too since my car will be freshly painted later on this summer and I'll want to take care of it properly.

Just a non-abrasive polish thats good to use, I've never used wax on a car.

What do you use to protect your car's paint? Or is that why you had it repainted? You should be using either a sealant or wax or both for protection. There are a ton of products depending on your budget. For good protection and good looks without breaking the bank you could go with something like BlackFire Wet Diamond (sealant $25-30) and top it with a nice wax like Collonite #915 around $25. Or check your local Walmart and see if the have any Autoglym HD. I prefer carnuba paste waxes but you could use a synthetic wax just as well if its more to your liking.

SORRY GUYS.........
I got stuck up in New York an extra day, plus I had to get my front Hal shocks off the car tonight, so I can FedEx them to BSB Manufacturing for rebuilds by Thursday afternoon, so I can get them back FedEx by Saturday. I only have another car to use till Saturday, if I don't get this done I'll have to rent a damn car till I get this stuff back to put back in.
But look, I just took these, the car is on jacks in the driveway. I really did get a new paintjob with CETA............... lol
I also did the LED DRL's/Blinkers......way cool how they go bluish-white and back to Amber....and they're so bright too. They never even get warm like factory ones do.

How about McGuiers(sp) #7? I can't find the 3M Final Glaze anywhere around me.
Autoglym....I think I saw that today on the shelf. Is that a pure polish? I really don't want to use any waxes.

Wax on a new paint job? I thought new paint/clear should only have polish put on it?

Has it been wet-sanded?
If no, then you have to wet sand it.
If yes, you'll have to find a compound that goes with what grit of the sand paper. I believe M105 goes removes 1500 grit sand paper, 205 around 2500. I could be wrong on those numbers.
My guess is that the advice will be the typical Meguire's 205 after wet sand depending on how many coats of clear.
After having the paint wetsanded and then buffed, please follow the painters instructions of no wax for whatever recommended days they specified, I would do a week or so longer just to make sure.

I'm gonna wait 30 days, then put a polish of some type on it. He said he did 2 coats of clear.
