Lets see some custom Red TAs!
My car is wrecked and while I am rebuilding it I keep wanting to change the entire color. Who has a bad *** red TA on here? Someone please convince me to keep it red. I really don't wanna do the jambs and ****. I can and have done it to many cars, just wanna be lazy lol. Its a 97 but its getting the 98+ front clip and maybe a 5.3 swap. Either way, it will have the better looking LS front clip. Will get the Raptor or or Firehawk hood and prolly a design on the scoops. It won't be stock red either, but it will have something to separate it from the other red TAs. So lets see the ideas!
This is how it sits now. The rebuild has started tho

I've done that several times - painted a vehicle a color close to the existing color so I didn't have to repaint jams, etc. I just find other factory colors and get the paint code so it'll be easy to touch up later if need be.
I know the Ford Escape has a color that is a bright brick red that would look good. Or, the '10 - '11 Nissan Altima has a color that looks like a candy red with a tinted clear...

That is the cleanest LT1 TA I have ever seen!!! And as for the work on mine, I am well aware it needs more than a front clip. Rad support, partial front sub, frame rails, wiring harness repaired, and lots and lots of other ****. Until right now, I have never liked the LT1 style front end. That car screams sex....

01BADBIRD, holy hell that is a clean engine bay. What code of red did you use? I am really hoping to get parts on mine this winter but the wreck messed my neck up pretty bad. Been off work a month now and the doctors still aren't sure what is going on yet.

Here are some progress pics. I sold the LT1 and will be buying a 5.3 very soon. May use the stock k member and get adapters but that depends on if a salvage yard will come off a LS1 k member at a good price or not.

Sorry about the wreck. I'm glad to see that you are planning on rebuilding it instead of parting it out and buying a new car like so many ****** on this site have done. Phoenixes never die, they are just reborn. Good luck with the build.

Not a vert fan but that is a clean *** car man. Thanks for posting some pics. I wasn't gonna rebuild it but someone said I wouldn't so I said **** em and that I would. I've rebuilt worse before. I am ASE certified and have repaired some bad **** lol. It won't be as show car but it will be fixed. Gotta get my racecar done before I invest money into the TA but it isn't costing me anything to keep it in the pasture for a few months. Previous salvage title to. The right front sub has been replaced already so I might as well fix it and enjoy the damn thing. Gonna build a N2O, heads, cam 5.3.

theres a lot of cool reds....really depends on your budget because reds tend to be at the higher end of price in the color spectrum until you start playing with pearls, candys and so forth. cheapest option would be the factory color.
