Blitz Black paint is done!!!!
Just picked up my Formula this afternoon from paint. Went from tired factory Navy Blue Metallic to sinister John Deere Blitz Black. Go to www.picturetrail.com/1camwndr and click the NEW PAINT folder.

I purchased the paint myself a few weeks ago on sale...I think it was $106 for 2 gallons of paint and 2 cans of hardener. I had a friend who does paint on the side do the prep and paint for a little less than $1500.
I am quite pleased. Oh, and I didn't need to buy the 2 gallon sale deal, it only took 3/4 of a gallon of paint plus the hardener and reducer to cover the car with the light coat and 2 full wet coats.

It will probably stay just like it is for quite a while. Ultimately I'd like to put in a Shaker scoop and the single hood/roof/deck stripe like the 1970-1972 Trans Am had. I'd like to paint the stripe a dark gray and paint the spokes of my Torque Thrust II wheels to match.
