yeah it was moved a bit, it has been racked/straightened. The front horns are still tweaked a little but since its all in front of the subframe Im not going to mess with it. When the front/engine bay gets painted I may cut it off at the subframe and put a mint front part on it, we shall see

its REALLY dirty, hasnt been buffed yet, and dont mind the front fenders, they are getting replaced since I fucked up the paint. Hood spoiler and exhaust should be here this week, I drove it around the yard for a few min yesterday. Took me 4 hours to get the seats bent back and clean the glass out of the carpet!

And yes I did get the headlights straightened out more, Lots of small things to do yet but its gonna be driveable next weekend!

Sorry, I only had my phone with so pics are poor

alot of things,
First off, they were my test/learning panels since they are cheap and easy to replace, so they are just lower quality
Secondly the drivers fender had a contaminant right above the wheel where the base wrinkled
Third I sanded them and was going to spray 2 more coats of clear, and they fisheyed bigger than ****. At that point I just messed around with the clear so I could practice and now there are big stripes and sags in it

Just spent about an hour reading this from beginning. Awesome job man the Camaro looks great! Those lights are killer. If you hadn't said you're a novice I never would have guessed. Anyways keep the updates coming, silver is too common for my preferance but that does look good!
I need to get to painting my car

I drove the car to iowa today, 320 miles with no problems. A/C is nice and cold and everything works great. Spoiler fits great for $150 shipped off Ebay, but I had to cheap out and buy a Ebay sunoco hood too, just dont have the cash for a VFN. Hood is pretty rough but it will do for now.

Anyway, speedglass is in as well, I like it, very light! Clarity is so-so but it looks good and is fairly solid. Heres a couple quick pics, I havent gotten the front and hood lined up since I just didnt have time. Gotta pick up my exhaust tomorrow!!

AND, this was just what I was expecting, full tank of gas with all the comforts and sound deadening

Heck yeah, dude! Looks killer! Awesome job so far, that's for sure!

A buddy of mine has the same hood. It took a LOT of blocking to get it straight, but it looks great now and you can't even tell it's a cheap hood.

How in the hell did you get it to 3200??? Mine is at 3400 and I thought I was doing good considering I have added about 100 pounds and only taken out about 200. Ha ha.

I cant gurantee the 3200, that was on the scale at the farm which isnt certified but its not off more than 100# I would say. I added 35# of exhaust now too

no bumpers
cut frame horns
remove all heatshielding
abs
speedglass in the back
nothing in the hatch

thats it! The glass saved me almost 30# alone that was a big one. Ill get it scaled again maybe next weekend if I have the time

Looks great. Total turnaround and second chance at life for this car. One question though... why does the rear bumper stick out at the bottom behind the passenger rear tire?

Got some new pics today since I had the day off. so heres the updates to this thread until I get it lowered and the hood painted. New rear tires are 295/45-18, tail panel and spoiler are black plasti-dip. Did the hose mod in the rear but it still isnt low enough, so im going to pull all the springs and knock some off in the future, probably the same time the stall and a set of 3.73s go in
