Jetstream Blue on a Trans Am

Jetstream actually looks darker to me on the 4th gens rounded body, than the more chiseled C6 body . GMPP's LS9 4th is jetstream and it also looks darker like the formula above .

i hope your car gets painted pretty soon, this late there's almost no excuse. reputable paint place?
you'd be surprised where you can take actual paint classes for everything you can think of. i might spend some of my summer (college kid) taking painting classes~

I kind of regret getting myself into this. The car looked fine before. I had a 97 Z28 roller up for sale and the guy asked if I would barter a paint job for the car so I did. I guess all I can do now is hope it comes out good.

How long until you paint yours? They just finally sprayed mine today. I got some pics on my cell but they are bad pics. Been waiting all night for them to email me pictures (they asked me for my email address this afternoon) but I haven't gotten anything. In the phone pics it looks more light and silver then what I wanted. He says it's just the pictures so hopefully that's true.

Well.... got some pictures today. It doesn't look like the paint sample I got, and it is way lighter than what I had in mind. I hope it is just the lighting but that may be wishful thinking... I guess I will find out when I see it in person.
This here isn't bad, wish it was a little darker
Those two pics were before clear coat.
Here's some pics of it done. Just way lighter than what I had in mind. I hope either A) it's the lighting or B) it ends up looking good when the car is all put together. Cause I'm stuck with it

I don't think it looks like the old Pontiac motor paint at all...
I thought I was going to get it back on Friday, but it wasn't ready. They said definitely this week. Can't wait to see it in person.

I had mine painted about a year ago, the time it takes can be frustrating, but you will likely have it for years, so you'll forget in time. Let's get that beauty on the road by Auto Fair or G15 in Atlanta. There may be a caravan leaving from Charlotte for the Atlanta show.
