Default Sail panel replacement

So after seeing a few different f-bodys with a black sail panel behind the t-tops I've started to like the way it looks rather than my color matched on on my 01 t/a.
It got me to wondering if these can be changed. Just taken off and replaced or if it's way more of a hassle than it's worth. Anybody know?
I searched and only found stuff about the inside sail panels and older replacements.

I am currently having mine replaced due to the infamous bubbles. I ordered my sail panel and the two applique panels (triangle panels on the sides). PM me for info if you need it.

This panel has been discontinued by GM. Currently, nobody is making it. Check the last couple pages of the sticky thread above for further detailed info.
