Default Thinking of shaving a couple things

I plan on having a shop do a few minor body mods, blacked out brake lights, painted plack section on rear bumper, shave the antenna, and i got the quirky idea in my head to shave the gas tank door and relocate the input spout to the plastic panel on the left side of the hatch area. Anyone have any pics of the shaved gas door or any input?

i have been wanting to shave the gas door for a long time. i have a formula and i want to put the center filler panel between the taillights on hinges like the old 70s camaros. and have the gas come through there. just havnt got around to doing it.

You don't want your fuel filler opening inside the car. You'll smell gas so strong and you risk explosion or combustion. Besides, what happens when you unknowingly use a messed up pump and it doesn't cut off when the tank is full? You'll get gas all inside your car.

well if you race the car at any tracks (unsure of your interest in such things) it would definitely not pass tech inspection if it routes fuel inside the car.
