So this is "DONE"? I call BS!
I get the call Friday that my car is done and I'm not able to go and pick it up till Tuesday because of work. Well my brother sees the car and says I'm not gonna be happy and sends me some pics, he was right. This morning I get up and go "check out my car" while the shop is closed because the car is out front. Let it be known I'm not happy and they have had the car for a MONTH AND A HALF!!

yeah yall have no idea how pissed off I am! Guy seemed like a stand up guy but now if they expect me to take this HELL NO! Even said they were going to paint the bottom like the CETA mod for me and I showed him a pic. I hope Allstate looks at this and says fix it OTHERWISE Im getting my ins company involved or talking to a few lawyer friends i know
Im thinking they are getting pressure to get it out from allstate since they are paying for a rental.

I'm not familiar with Firebirds, but the fitment issues look remarkably similar to how bad the aftermarket plastic bootleg/unlicensed/crappy copies of the '93-'97 Camaro front bumpers fit. I bet you they didn't use an OEM urethane rear bumper. On the unpainted side, see if it's made of a yellow material or if it's black if you can manage to see anything while underneath the car with a flashlight. The OEM urethane is yellow/ivory and the typical plastic, cheap crap is black.

That could be black primer. Check the backside of the bumper if possible just to make sure. If it's an insurance paid job, I'm not sure how far bitching will get you concerning the part, but a healthy dose of anger should get the paint corrected.
We've had an aftermarket front fender on the '95 since it was vandalized in 2002 or 3, and I've been unhappy with the fitment ever since. The sad thing is, OEM bumpers, fenders, etc. were still being produced back then, our insurance specified OEM, and the work was done AT A CHEVROLET DEALERSHIP and somehow we still ended up with an aftermarket one that doesn't quite fit right. At least the paint job was near perfect though.

parts wise a shop is suppose to use whats on estimate weather its used aftermarket or new. as for time it took has no baring on anything parts could have been a issue getting frame time and waiting on adjusters all play into things plus its only 30 days 5 or so hours on estimate is a day

Its hard to tell if they used A/M parts or OEM. I think(hard to say thru pics) that the frame below is off a little bit or the fitment of the bumper leads me to figure its A/M and needs some tweaking still
Do NOT pick up until its 100%
