Backlit berger panel
Ok i have used the search button here and in the aperance and detailing section with no results.
I am looking for a write up on how to backlight the berger panel lettering, id like to do it in red like the tail lights. Anybody know of anyone personally who did this that can ask them to give me some pointers as how to do the lettering. Back lighting it wont be too hard its getting the color to show through the lettering that gives me the issue while thinking about it.
Would i just dremel out the lettering thin enough for color to show through or do i take them letters completely out and replace it with clear composite of some sort. I dont see replacing the lettering with a clear composite looking too good during the day.
Any pointers will be helpfull cause i am going to swap my tails to LT1 tails and while i have that section apart i want to do this as well.

Yeah i after posting i was thinking a more of opaque white would be the better choice, or using a piece of plexi sealed against the panel from the inside and have it sprayed black with VHF or whatever that paint is that will still allow light through.
That would let it match the tails when i have them tinted during the day and still allow the red through at night.
Lomaro thanks for the link but what type of materials were used for the lettering, thats mybiggest thing. Getting something to seal the holes after cutting them open. The title is probly why i had no luck searching for berger panel lol.
