Default lt1 front end on an ls1 firebird?

What would be needed to make the swap? i hate the way the ls1 firebirds look, want to do something different. I figure a hood, fenders, bumper obviously but what about the headlights?

Very unusual.

Trade someone looking to convert to the newer style front end. That's your best bet.

Or just buy an lt1 firebird and put all of the stuff on your ls1 on that car and u will basically have an ls1 just with the lt1 body

to each there own... hey op...if its what you like do it. Since noone else has gave you a straight honest answer: what you need is is the two front fenders, bumper cover, headlight assymblys and motors, inner bumper support (the foam pieces basically) a hood, and depending on what air intake style you plan on running (if you plan on keeping your lid) youll need to moddify the hood opening on the ram air where the hood mats up with the air box. (took me a little bit of filing to get my ls1 lid to fit propperly when i installed it. Overall not a hard swap to do, should be mostly bolting and aligning. As stated above your best bet is to find an lt1 guy who wants to swap front ends in your area. Shouldnt be to hard to do as seen above since theres plenty of LT1 haters in the world. I should also add you may have to swap a few pieces of body wiring harness was well.

Heres a good comparison pic

lmao well i would trade but my hood is bent and my bumper is in the garage in two pieces, and im not saying that a ws6 ls1 doesnt look better than an lt1 firebird, but i dont have a ws6 and dont fell like spending 500 for a hood that doesnt fit right, and noone else thinks the ls1 firebird looks like **** without the ws6 hood?

I also agree with you on this one, everyone here thinks I am crazy but I love the look of the LT1 front! I think its so much sexier, personally there is too much going on in the front of the ls1 and I love how the lights on the LT just blend in with the body.

Is your sig a WS6 from Forza 3 lol?

OP, I agree with you that without the WS6 hood the regular bird looks kinda funny. But you'd probably spend more money on the swap than just buying another hood.
