Looks good from the pics but... What brand of paint did they use?
Who painted the car?

I just finished mine last night ... I did all the prep work and sanding .. One of my friends told me he would paint if for me if I did all the work.

I spend more in paint and supplys then you did for the whole car. Makes me wonder what they used on yours..

Like I said though it looks good from the pictures.

Off topic, but your wheels look fantastic! Do they still have the clear coat on them?

This very reason is why some shops have started going to a zero tolerance policy on techs doing sidework. Why? because materials walk out the door.

Somebody had to pay for the 700-1000 worth of paint & materials put on his car, it wasn't him nor the guy that painted it for $650.

In his defense, he never specified if the $650 was just for labor or if it included paint and supplies also.

I understand that a lot.. I just saw what he paid and was like WTF.. But your right someone had to pay for that paint and that **** isn't cheap.

OP if you can find out what kind of paint he used on your car if you don't mind.

He did say and it wasn't for paint he said his friend had some already. So it was more then likely for supplies and labor.

If all this was just extra stuff he had laying around OP got a deal from hell..

Again like I said before car looks great from the pictures and you got a deal ...no matter what the money you paid for got you.

You can paint a black car for under $200 in materials if you use cheap paint.

Thats why I asked what paint he used.

Also another question to ask is how much clear did he use and what brand too?

True, but then again I wouldn't paint my car with Nason or Limco either...or my mailbox...or lawnmower... etc
