Default Nothing Crazy..just some of my work! Two Tone Mustang, Maggie G8..and more

Im 22, I have a Detail Shop, I also do Paintless Dent Repair, and some small fender benders. My shop name is Perfection in 3Ds...Dents Detailing, Damage. I do all this out of a little garage. It pays my bills and I enjoy it. But this is some of the more fun things Iv done lately..

My little sisters 96 GT Mustang. This was her high school grad gift..

My dad got this from a Friend I went to highschool with, it would have been a great driver, but had a lot of little dings and the paint was faded..and it was UGLY Green..

Next is a G8, a Friend, Car cruzing buddy, We do A LOT of drag racing together..an unfortunate accident happend at a car show, and he paid me extra to have some fun with it!

Painted the Hood, Roof, and Spoiler Black!

96 Trans Am LS Swap, Customer has sent me work in the past and I took care of him on his stripes. The Hood took a lot of time to make it fit right

FRC Wet Sand/Buff, 3 Step Polish, Painted Hood

2010 SS Delux Exterior Detail

Iv never been a fan of Dupont Clears because they most are VERY Hard. Iv used Spies, Dont like it, lays down nice, just too hard, Standox sprays like ****, looks like ****, and doesnt buff for **** lol. You let either one of those set more than a week after its been sprayed..you wont cut it open lol. Im looking into trying some Upol Products. Its funny to say this, but some of my better jobs have been cleared with Nason 498 or the 496 Clear. (The Nason Base..I cant stand) Kinda sad because it is a cheap clear, but I really like it. Iv had GREAT luck, never peals or flakes. Customers dont come back with saying it rock chips like crazy. On most of my small collsion thats all I use now.

Yes Sir! On the Detailing, I use a wide veriety of products, some 3M, some Mothers, it really just depends. I have a few cleaners that I buy locally.

I just tried nason 465-000 glamour clear. I did'nt like it much but it did buff ok and seems to go pretty far. Funny you say about the cheap clears...I just sprayed som cheapass Limco a few weeks ago that someone brought to me and had great luck with it... It even shined more than alot of the high dolla dupont clear.

You should try Southern Poyurethanes clear (SPI). I have used a lot of clears from dupont to House of kolor, kirker, Crossfire etc. and this is by far the best I have used. It is priced nicely as well, you should at least read up on it sometime.

To piggyback on my last post, the tru test is what it looks like after a year or two. Just about any clear looks great freshly cut and buffed, it is what it looks like down the road the tells the tale, as far as shrinkage and dieback.

True that....most of my jobs are on the higher end and mostly british car. So far I have had any problems with what you stated.....I'm just not real happy with the dupont clears until their buffed a little.
