Tried it on brothers hood, the hood is in terrible shape compared to the rest of the car and is soon to be replaced, so we gave it a shot. It wouldn't have looked half bad if not for just plain terrible "painting". We washed and polished the hood before application, it tore off very easily.

Has anyone used plasti-dip on polished, not chrome wheels?
I'm thinking about giving it a shot, but I don't want to be the guy who gets the set of wheels it won't peel off of, if I hate it.

I did my wheels on the Ferrariaro. A friend of mine is doing his whole car. They also have colors, but you will most likely have to order them. Most lowes or home depots don't carry anything other than black

I am on the 2nd round of plasti-dip on my wheels on my Grand Cherokee. I got about 6 months out of 2 coats. It was time as it was starting to get dirty from break dust and nasty-ness. I peeled it off and redid it! The stuff is GREAT! I did the grille on the jeep too!

ide reframe from shooting your whole car haha...
youde be better off shooting anything chrome, or thats very prone to rust....
and then just make sure to wash your car every week during the winter, if I were to worry about corrosion from salt, ide undercoat the underside of your car....
i plan on doing it next spring...
