Default help me fix my 35th LE wheels

I just bought these and knew they were messed up and now I want to fix them, previous owner had tried to clean them with a heavy degreaser and completely messed up the clear coat, so I was wondering if I can strip these myself and not mess up the black...they are OEM GM stamped

Sorry for the big pics but just want you guys to really see what im talking about

2 OPTIONS...
1st Involes a whole lot of work...800-1000 Wet sand. Mothers Polish...Repaint Black inserts Gloss Black...You will spend 2-3 hours per wheel...Center caps maybe trash...You can try to paint...Closest paint would be Sheer Silver Metallic...Then Clear Coat..Tape off and repaint Bowtie red.

2nd I cannot see curb rash...If you have curb rash...You're better off letting a Wheel Refurb place do the whole treatment..In Houston 100.00 to 175.00 per wheel. Wheels only...You will still have to deal with center caps...

I just went thru this..I did option 2..Immediately boxed and put wheels in attic..These wheels cannot be purchased anymore from GM or aftermarket..They will have value in the future...10-20 years from now..

Note to self...do not loose the black lug nut covers...They are over 10.00 each from GM..
Also tighten down when putting back on...take them off when going to rotate / balance..

Why don't you just use a chemical stripper then have the black painted or powdercoated the clear them.
