After wet sanding

After wet sanding I had some pretty bad scratches on my car from a tarp. I decided to wet sand them down with 2000 grit and then with 3000 grit. Now that sanding is done do I use glaze or rubbing compound followed by waxing?
Its gonna be a little more than I want to type on a blackberry so I'm gonna say just go to youtube and you can probably find a video of the whole process which is much better than you trying to figure out what each step is suppose to look like. I start out with a heavier compound though. How big of a spot is it and are you doing it by hand?
your not going to get good results by hand,there is a detailing thread which i think it would be a good idea for you to look at, honest m105,205 combo should be tried before wet sanding is even thought of

You can do it by hand but its gonna be a very, very long process. I've done motorcycle tanks by hand and its a pain! Use the buffer and be very careful around body lines and the edges of panels. Once you burn through its a done deal! I watched a 3M video a few years ago and it was good to actually SEE the steps and what they were suppose to look like. I think it was on their website. Just run the buffer across it with rubbing compound until you see the results you wanted, glaze it, wash the car, and wax the whole car (or whatever panel). If i were you i'd go ahead and buff the whole car and snap some pictures once you are finished, If you can still see the scratch after you sand it down, sand it down a little more. If that doesn't work that means it's not going to come out. Once you come to a edge, tilt the buffer to where the pad is a 45 degree angle with the body, keeping running your hand against the panel and make sure it isn't at all warm after buffing it for a minute or two, If it is warm let it sit for a minute and use more compound the next time, this is my job btw. Lol
