Default engine bay touchup

well i had planned on hiding my wiring and such in my engine bay. then i got bored. and took it a little bit further.

not to sure just yet. i pretty much stare at it until i think of something to do. since my block is at the machine shop i figured its a great idea to do stuff like this. i might go ahead and paint my ls6 intake. though i am open to any suggestions.

You could polish the lines,check into hydo dipping for the intake and other parts , im doing a few things like that while the car is down

Nothing wrong with that It's always interesting to see how far you are willing to go with things when you are bored. Looks good so far.

first i just cleaned the whole engine bay with that purple power cleaner stuff. took all of the grease and oil off the old paint. then just shot some gloss black paint on it.

for that little piece that connects the top of the radiator support and top of the bumper cover, it has those stupid push clip things, i got some stainless button head allen bolts and some washers to put in their place. i figure it will help the drooping bumper a little and it looks 10x better than those dumb clips.

Yeah those clips i hate, seems like once you take them out they look like crap lol, keep us posted

got my fasteners in the mail from fastenal. 30 bucks for 5 bolts 10 large diameter washers and 5 nylocks. the last coat of black is drying now so hopefully tomorrow ill have some pics up of it finished.

the bolts look so much better than them dumb push clips
