Agreed. The LT looks like a pointy version of the turd gen front end.
If you think an LT1 has a pointy front end, what does a third gen have? A round one? Haha

While I like the +98 SS front end, the 93-97 SS front end is just so much meaner. What hood will you go with?

This would definitely be a good thread to start, see if people prefer the 93-97 front end of the 98-02 front end.

I prefer the 98-02, as long as it is appointed nicely.

I plan on running some kind of 90 degree elbow much like lt1 elbow into a cold air dump into the well thats there, or running with a air filter right before the maf sensor. I do know this the air lid will be gone and I will fabricate the rest. I will be putting the lt1 SS hood on the car, matter of fact, I'm picking up that hood this weekend at the english town swap meet. Fiber customs is there so I will be picking up another one of his SS hoods. His hoods fit really good, I had a body guy correct the lines on the fenders and I'm happy now with the results. I also in the future plan on running a pro charger setup on this car, spoke with the guys at east coast supercharges, should be involved with that around december of 2013. I know this next statement my upset a few people out there but I as far as a motor goes I'm just going out and buying a new one. Im looking to go big, like 427 small block big.

If the LT1 had more ability to customize the front end I feel a lot more people would like it. Like if LT1s were made with the bottom half of the LS1 bumper I would like it a lot more
