Default Mystichrome Camaro

I know im gonna get alot of hate from the ford guys because it looks better on our cars but ever since ive seen this color I have been determined to paint my camaro with it. ive seen some of you talk about it on here so I thought id share my build with you guys..My car was previously Synergy Green with full bolt ons but the motor ran up alot of miles so my heads and cam motor swap also turned into painting it. after spraying the engine bay i intalled a brand new ls1 with prc head ms4 cam and a bunch of other goodies....I just finished spraying the car yesturday but ill update pics as I finish up the project.
Also would like some opinions on what wheels to get? Im looking for more of a drag strip wheel feel like rims can make or break a car. im planning on vinyl wrapping the roof, mirrors, and berger panel in carbon fiber. im also wanting to get opinions on which headlights would look best! thanks for any input..enjoy!

It looks great!!!! Awesome color!!!! As for wheels if budget isn't of much concern I'd go with 18X9.5 and 18X11 Forgestar CF5s in carbon fiber or maybe a gunmetal.

ooops my bad can't read you said drag type of wheel. A lot of people seem to like Racestar industries 92 in either chrome or black chrome..or Weld RT-SS-71s either chrome or black face. If you're looking for some thing really different if you head over to hawksthirdgeparts.com and go to wheels and click under american racing they have sets of 17X9/17X11 torq thrusts with custom powdercoating like black lip with gunmetal face or black lip with chrome face. Looks pretty sweet. Hope this helps at all.

How hard was it to paint? I always remember reading it was near impossible to do or the paint was crazy expensive.. Looks good so far!

That is a much better color than Synergy Green. Great choice!

About $200 in primer, $100 sealer, $120 for black basecoat (color has to be sprayed over black) the mystichrome base was $2000 for 2 quarts and there wasnt any room for error I had just enough. And clear coat was $470. And then another $350 worth of sandpaper, compounds and polishes for when I buff it

Those are the rims ive been wanting to get, do I have to do any customizing to make them fit? Do you know? I dont wanna have to do a narrow rear end to make them look right

It is honestly the easiest colors ive sprayed. It has to be sprayed over black but it lays down very evenly. If anyone wants to do a chameleon I suggest spending the money and get good materials.

Good thing also is that color can be panel painted if something happened down the road, I've painted a couple of the cobras before at work. The reason the paint is so expensive is because it has dye from the **** they use to print money.
Awsome job, looks great on your camaro!
