As RaptorWS6 said, they picked it up from the manufacturer and brought it back to their shop for local pickup (they were driving over to the manufacturer for other business), and I had my uncle pick it up from the 6LE shop which is closer than the manufacturer. Outside of the box it isn't gigantic, but it is relatively thin and flexible and definitely needs a good box to protect it in shipping. Mine was just bubble wrapped because the people moving it around could be trusted not to break it.

Don't know. I don't think 6LE's people checked the weight of the factory piece. I'll try to weigh the pieces of the stock one after it's removed. Maybe 10lbs. A t-top car with a carbon targa or carbon t-top inserts will weigh less, since the hardtops have extra sheet metal support bars above each door window (like the center t-bar, but on each side in addition to the center).

That is bad ***. I am very happy that 6LE was finally able to make this happen for us hardtop guys.
Replacement really isn't that bad. Just make sure you have the right tools and patience.

You can kind of get the idea in this picture.

No. Nothing has changed. I assume you're asking about the weight of the OEM roof panel that's still on the car? The new panel isn't even clearcoated on top or primered on the bottom side. I need to at least get that done before even thinking about replacing the panel. I have other priorities at the moment, like getting the longblock together. It'll probably be a few months to a year before that happens.
