,,, I would much rather have a class action law suit against them, after talking with them! Looks like lucky ol' me gets to deal with this as well...noticed my first sail panel bubble just this last weekend. I'm thinking there's a chemical engineer somewhere that should lose his job...
Oh, I forgot to mention that when I told the GM rep that this is a problem that thousands of people are having, she said that she has no records of any such complaints filed with GM,,,,, such bull
...which is why there's a technical service bulletin out for it, because absolutely no one has had this problem
I'm sure she doesn't have any experience with this problem, but it certainly doesn't mean that it doesn't exist altogether. I love some people's logic...typical GM dealer bullshit. I vowed to never go back to one after they rebuilt my rear end 3 or 4 times because it was too noisy and replaced my transmission because it was a piece...

GM should fix this mistake, and they know it. This was a flaw before I even thought about buying this car, and it has only manifested itself now. Since I couldn't have anticipated this, and I should have never had to worry about a freak problem like this, they need to pony up.
I'll be polite about it, but I will not roll over and let them screw me over. I'll take it as high as it needs to go...

Do you have the same problem with the sail panel 2001somws.6? I have the bubbles also and bringing 2 cars or more in Orlando should get their attention as well.

Mine aint that bad neather. So im getting it done before i get more miles and older. Before its to late.
And another thing. My girl drove me there and on her way back in the rain she made a turn and lost control and hit a huge curb and cost $60 bucks for a used rim and tire.
If they told me that the part never came in we would have never gone there.

My black 01 SS has always been garage kept and only has 21,000 miles, bubbles getting bad starting to ooze epoxy. GM customer service was real nice even sent a letter responding to my E-mail, but still refused, gonna try this other number above, will keep ya posted.
took mine to the dealer today to get this fixed.
took the TSB with me, they said, "yup, its a defect, but since you're the second owner, there is nothing we can do for you."
looks like i will be calling GM tomorrow to start my own saga!!
