"GM paid for repairs out of warranty"

Been there, done that, ..., Out of warranty on time, but not miles when it was repaired a couple years ago.

I had them on my 01 Z/28 my local dealership fixed mine under my 3/36 warranty. I also have the bubbles on my wifes 00 Camaro the dealership fixed the issue I was out of warranty on her car. The service rep said this is a known issue and we will fix it in or out of warranty.

The bubbling on the T/A roof generally is 2 rows across the pillar almost on each side of it.

Unrelated, but also typical, ...

I also have these and am wondering if they have to fix it when you are not the original owner. My ws6 hood has a really crappy factory job on it too. The clearcoat is coming off like crazy.

I've also got some bubbles on the roof of my SS. Haven't stopped by the dealer yet. Maybe once the semester is over...

Cause GM is gay and will not own up to a blatant factory defect.

EDIT: This poll is not scientific, but 59.63% of people answering this poll have had this problem. No doubt in my mind that GM should have done a recall on this.

My roof (hardtop) on my '00 Camaro has been doing it since I bought the car over 2 years ago.....and its only gotten worse.

This car being my daily driver, I haven't really had a chance to bitch out GM about it.....but it pisses me off that GM knows about this problem and won't really do anything about it.
