Default True Fire on Transam!!

Well let me first start off by saying this was done over a year ago (8-16-05)and I did it absolutley free of charge. In turn I would have my traveling expenses paid for me and my girlfriend that I brought along as well as exposure in a cover shoot for gm high tech. "69vette" is the owner and as of yet I have only received $500 of the $1,200 in traveling expenses which he now refuses to pay because I stayed for four days and finished it in 2 so he feels like he shouldnt have to pay me the rest. I told him I wouldnt release any pics before the magazine comes out but if he cant pay my traveling expenses and I cant get a guarantee for the magazine then you can rest assure I wont be holding these pics back. I will have a link with all emails and pms between me and 69vette for the last year for those that would like to read the ridiculous excuses he has for not paying. Until I get that link up here are some pics.

You did an amazing job!

sry things between you and the guy had to go the way they did. An agreement is an agreement. And for you to do something that big and ask so little in return, he has no right to not pay up

Damn that looks tight. I would do something to his ***. I hate low lifes, just because you finish a job sooner then you thought does not mean that the price changes!

I would have made sure your trip was paid for in full BEFORE walking out the door. Can't blame him too much if you guys only agreed on paying for the time it took to do the car. I wouldn't be paying for some other guys expenses while he bummed around. On the flipside, that it really nice work, and he should be obliged to pay for what he got.

It's a shame that some people are such crooks. I was one of the people on this board that paid Jantzer98SS (Scott Jantzer) about $275 w/ a core charge included to port and polish a throttlebody. Almost 2 years later and zero money or product received from him...just a bunch of lies or ignoring my emails.

sorry stryker to hear about this.

Ok I dont know the exact circumstances surrounding the deal and it is NOT my place to get involved.. I dont know EITHER party.. but is there a reason you stayed 2 extra days on his behalf?

Like I said, this isnt a knock and it is none of my business but since you made a post about it.. I figured I would ask. Thats all.

Good luck getting your money though!

EXCELLENT WORK BROTHA on the paint.. EXCELLENT!

Looks really good. Honestly though, if my job sends me to europe for a week to work, and I decide to stay 2 months with my girlfriend, my job won't pay for the additional 7 weeks. I can see where he's coming from.

Nah that's bullshit. That job is worth well over $1200 bucks. WELL OVER. $500 bucks is weak. It doesn't matter if the job takes a week or a day. If you have talent, things get done quicker. And it was in favor that the job DID get done quicker.

Scumbags suck, you can't trust anybodys "word" these days. Honesty/Respect is a hard thing to come by.

No dont worry about it. well it really wasnt 2 days it was actually just one. the following day we had to be at the airport at 11 am. the schedule was to paint the sides of the car the first day and then the hood and anything i needed to touch up on the 2nd. The third day was reserved just in case I ran into any problems or if it took longer than expected seeing as how it was the first full car I ever did true fire on. I certainly didnt want to end up short on time and have to catch a flight with unfinished work. In reality I should have taken the 1st day and just worked 8 hours but I stretched an 8 hours into 14 so I could get both sides done. 2nd day was only about 6. Now if I knew it would only take 2 days and I stayed an extra just for the fun of it i could see his point but this was the first full car i did airbrushing on and I had no guage for how long it would take. Busting my *** and working 14 hours the 1st day seems like a mistake at this point.

I love the clean look of my black Firehawk, but man I have to say. You're the only one I'd let "bless" the exterior of my car with your artwork.

Before I went "bling crazy" I remember contacting you about painting up my intake manifold and some other stuff. I've always been a fan. ~Joshua

Good luck with the dead beat.
