I was thinkin of doing it to my red SS... I'm not really sure myself about it, just seems like one of those things some people can pull off and some people can't. One question thats kinda off topic, but are the 98-02 SS spoilers different in size or anything compared to the 96-97 SS spoilers? Besides the little fins in the middle.

He should have been the one to bite his tongue, not you. I think it looks good, but it only matters what you think since it's your car.

My buddy used body filler with it. He sanded the entire panel, and worked it out with filler & a few coats of primer. I don't have a remote anymore for my car so I couldn't ditch the key hole but I will someday when all my electrics work

Thanks, I was planning on having it painted, but my buddy has been swamped with school work so he hasn't gotten around to it yet.

shouldnt be too hard to understnad what im talking about but heres what im doin to the LE to match this berger panel style...
i went ahead and bought two compltely new ds and ps mirrors...not painted so they are still black...the SS is a vert so this black detail sticks out...on the hood, there is an insert infront of the scoop, same black as mirrors...so now all i have to do is buy a tail light panel and the lil project is finsihed

While it is your car, I think the Berger Panel looks good on nearly any 4th Gen Camaro. Especially if it's an extra panel so you can switch back if you get tired of it. I decided not to be able to do that, as I started with what was at the time an extra panel and now needs to go back on my 95 V6 so I can give the car whole to a friend in return for him basically doing all the work on my Z28. However, after reviewing some old pics of my Z, I honestly like it much much better with the Berger Panel than without.

i guess i kinda borrowed/stole ArOck's idea... i filled in the back panel with body filler, drilled the holes for the Z/28 emblem, and then primed it. i would have painted it too, but i no longer had the time (or the place where i primed it) so i took it to my community college where i took auto body repair, so they hooked me up with a cheap (but quality) paint job, both on the berger panel and on my spoiler...
i have not done it yet, but i plan on mounting the "Camaro" emblems ('69 style) on my fenders, where the plastic Z28 emblems were.

here we go I like it on my black camaro. I still need to put in the brushed camaro inserts and get some nice badges. I think lt1 taillights will make it look better what do yall think? Also I kinda like the spoiler being the same as the panel, again what do yall think?

imo, whether or not you do the berger mod depends on the "theme" you are following in relation to your cars appearance. as long as it goes together well with the rest of your car i'd probably do it! it can be a really cool mod imo and would definitely set your car apart from the rest. and if you get sick of it you can always change it later!

This is one of the only guys who knows.. The rear panel SHOULD be Satin Black.. Thats the way they did it in 67-69.. (my dads 68 bigblock 396/375hp camaro is an original paint car) - done that way.. My 70 Bigblock 396/350hp camaro is satin black, the way they came from factory.. If you going to do the burger panel, do it right, and paint it satin black the way they came (not flat black, not gloss black) Ive bought an ss panel and plan on painting it this summer.. ID do it if i were you, but Satin Black.. lol
