SS Shacker hood

My SS hood shakes like a shaker hood.
Just wondering if any one else has this problem. Hood was recently installed, while cruising down the freeway it will shake and float at the rear. Have tryed to adjust the front bump stops. There is no type of adjustment that can be made at the rear of the hood to prevent this for what I have found.
All gaps and body lines are flush, fits great, and yes this is a OEM hood.
Is this normal for the SS.
Not real worried about it, but I just do not want the undoo stress on the hood.

you know what, I distinctly remember that bugging me about my hood. Dont really notice it anymore, I wonder if ive gotten used to it, or the shocks have setted at their resting position.

Yeah, I had my oem ss hood installed and painted about a year ago, it fits perfect, but it definently vibrates at the back like you described, I have pretty much gotten used to it though. I think it is common

Ok at least I am not the only one. Makes me feel better, knowing it is not something wrong. Just dont see any way to that it could be secured at the back. Unless I get in to some type of custom bracket or hinge modification.
This is the wifes camaro, dont have any problem like this on my T/A. Hood is rock solid.

Mine shakes as well. OEM SS hood on a Z28. The shaking is very minimal and only at highway speeds. It bugged me at first but I got used to it.
One idea I had to control it would be to pad the rim of the fender (that the hood sits on) with something like weatherstripping. I don't know if it would work, but that should be enough of a buffer to prevent shaking coming from the engine bay.
I'm inclined that the shaking has something to do with the wind, too. If that's the case, there's little you can do about it. A grille might help baffle it.
