Default how do i repair a potential berger panel?

hey guys got a panel i want to make a berger and its gunmetal right now but want to paint it satin black.but on the corner its cracked,but its repairable.this is fiberglass right?how do i repair this?thanks dont want to go to a shop so they can charge a arm and a leg to repair and piant thanks

depends on how back the crack is, is it a hair line or have material missing from it?

IT's not fiberglass, it's SMC, but for a nonstressed part like that you could use fiberglass to repair it and be OK.

Just grind away the paint about an inch in each direction on both sides (you can spread it out a little further on the back since you wont see it) and when you're doing your filler work, let the primer dry for a while in the sun... give it at least a week before sanding and painting. That way the fiberglass will be mostly cured and won't show too bad.

i would V it out with a razor blade, rough it up with some 180, put some metal glaze in it and block it down with like 180, go back over with 220 to help with the block marks, bury in primer (whole panel should be primered) if you can use actual auto primer. I like Transtars water based, If not you could try some of duponts acrilyc that comes in a rattle can. Once done prep for whatever the color paint you are using calls for.

Why not just pain your own berger panel? I know I would never wanna switch back to stock with as good as it looks
