Why did chevy paint their mirrors black for Camaros?
I've always wondered why chevy didnt paint the mirrors on the Camaro's to match the car... I'm looking to get them painted to match my car, but I was wondering if anyone knew... Or was it something they thought would look good? Anyone got a maroon Camaro with painted mirrors so I could see what it looks like?
Thanks,
Mike

As far as the roof goes, for 98+ cars its anything with an ls1 was black, i have seen all kinds of combinations on lt1 years though so i have no idea there

According to the Window Sticker from my 98 Z28, my mirrors and t-top bar are black because I have the "Sport Appearance Package." I'll post a pic of my window sticker when I get home.
