IMO $450 doesn't sound too bad as long as the repair is done correctly. By correctly I mean blending the paint to make it look even instead of just painting the small areas around the holes.

If it is the rear $450 is either a super good deal if it is a shop that knows what they are doing. That is quite a bit of work to paint 2 quarter panels and the rear hatch spoiler. To do it right the tail lights should be removed as well as the bumper and tail light filler panel, side mouldings, radio antenna, fuel door and the triangle appliques that are on the sail panel that overlap the quarter. Not to mention weld the holes up and finish them off properly. If the shop has a good reputation for quality work and stand behind it, then you should get it scheduled in as soon as possible.

yeah vetman is right on the correct way but alot of body shops know their way instead of the correct way. it sounds like they may just tape everything off instead of removing it but i dont know the shop so its hard to tell sometimes.

+1 I could not do it for that either. I dont really see how any professional shop could do it for that. Unless there was a guy doing on the side at his house or something. But that is not the case here. If you really dont care how your car turns out then let them do it. On the other hand just do it yourself and save the money. For that kind of dough it would probably turn out the same.
