Great project. I can't wait to see it when it gets back from paint. I wish I had friends like that.

Gary's car started life as a vert... but he grafted a Z06 roof to a convertible tonneau cover... so inside it's like a vert w/ the top up w/ the double humps and waterfall etc. He has a spare stock tonneau if he ever wants to drive it as a vert but he has the top out for the stereo so it'd have no roof.

With it's "normal" configuration it's pretty much a targa hardtop, but the hard top is on hinges if that makes sense.

I think i've seen your car a few times around Capitol Expy and at Red Lobster once. I live on Capitol/Story, i have seen a few of the Nocal Muscle guys around I just never have my car. I've been wanting to go to one of the meets to meet some new f-body guys. I'll be at the next one for sure now that the car is ready again..

No pics, but the Chevy is being painted a Ford color Screamin' Yellow it is :yesnod: They panited a strip of my roof in 3rds. The left side the saturn yellow, the center was left millenium yellow, and the rigth part screamin yellow. It was an easy choice. The Saturn yellow was just too pale. The mustang yellow is just what I want, brighter than millenium while still being a rich bringht yellow that isn't pale.
