Yeah a few.... been working on it between the vette.

This is the #11 car (identical paint job) but it's a good picture

Me and my father when I went to his place in NC to pick it up... it's for both of us, but I have the car trailer and the garage space. Plus he doesn't have the time to screw with it whereas I can make the time to maintain it. Oh and he wouldn't admit it, but I know more about cars than him now Especially fuel injected ones.

Just finished a tune up on it and went through the motor/connections (we just got it a few months back and will be running it at VIR for the first time in February w/ NASA). From this:

I know... but I didn't want any color other than yellow, that's why I got a yellow on in the first place. This is just a better yellow.

^ Dunno... I'd assume end of this week or sometime the week after. Going to hang the doors, fenders, quarters etc then bring it bcak to my garage to finish putting it together.

Of? I've documented the whole project... will be making an album to take to car shows. There will be more pics as parts get painted.

theres better varients of any color in my opinion. thats why im switching my 81 z from its original charcoal grey to dark spiral grey. the dark spiral grey has a darker tone and somewhat of a grey to black flop effect at certain light points. then im paint my 94 to match my 81.

yeah i cant wait to start on it i have a few surprises in mind for the f-body guys. did you order the glass taraga? ever consider maybe having some yellow pearl added to the c5r back to give it a suttle touch?

I bought the clear (it's polycarbonate, not glass) targa top used on the corvetteforum. Decided to keep the *** end as it is now. No pearls, not funky 3-stage anything. I want it easy to match if I ever have to paint anything again.

They have the underside of the hood and trunk cut in... looks amazing, but even with Dupont Chroma Premier it's using tons of paint to get adequate coverage. Painter wants to cut in all the panels then re-hang them so he can assure even coloration over the entire car vs. panel painting.

Is taking more time. I'm going to Cancun w/ my GF on Sunday and back Thursday for some much needed R&R and GF time... hope it'll be painted by the time I get back so I can get it in my garage.

Sorry... paint shop is a bit slow and I went to Cancun for a few days for some R&R w/ the GF.

Ok... finally some color pics... Screamin' Yellow in Dupon Chroma-Premier is really something to behold.

The doors showing off the real color

The lighting/flash makes it look more red/orange than the doors pic.
