Thought you guys might like to see some of the side projects I'm working on for the car. Being tall sun visors are annoying and block my sightline. I haven't had my driver's side one in the car for 3+ years and took the one out of my truck as well. In a vert or targa flipping them forward blocks even more of my view and leaving them flipped up kills alot of the open feel of having the top out or down. Solution: Remove both visors. To do this and not have holes left from where they mount I decided to customize the trim piece. I stripped the oem vinyl, beveled out the holes w/ my dremel, and filled with plastic epoxy, then sanded smooth. Finished up the piece yesterday and it's ready to go get re-wraped in vinyl.
Installing my carbon fiber Z06 ducts... they're made to simply stick on over the oem ones, but that looks stupid and you can tell they're stuck on when up close as they're not 100% perfect flush. Solution: Cut the oem duct apart and replace the outer shell with the carbon part. I painted the screens black as the screens in my front bumper are black.
Here's how they'll look... haven't epoxied it all together yet.
More carbon fun... new door sills in real carbon
Should have some major pics this week as Stock or Modified is nearing completion and I'm getting giddy.

Pretty major update tonight... I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Rockers/jambs came out too light so they're being redone, other than that it's downright amazing... I love it. Joey at Stock or Modified can really paint. He hates me now as yellow and pearl white are the two toughtest colors to paint, especially painting it all apart, but I didn't want any tape lines

Checkin in on your project..... looks like you've made some progress! Although I hate to see cars in that "shape".
I can't wait to see the yellow paint shining in the outside sun with NO TOP!
Keep us posted and good luck!!

When I was running HPDEs in the car the combo made for great engine cooling.
