Looks good, what type of paint did you use?

You should make a coil pack relocation kit and then shave down the mounting points on the valve covers to show them off...

that's my plan.

Thanks, I used duplicolor high gloss acrylic enamel, clear coat, and also duplicolor primer. I couldnt believe how easy it was this is the first time ive painted ne thing really. I will eventually down the road relocate the the coils but as you can see in my upcoming mods im workin on all my cam parts right now and got a TON of body work to do as my car was wrecked and im in the midst of a rebuild now.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, the intake and valve covers never came off my car. I upgraded to the ls6 intake and wanted to paint it before I put it back on and I also got new heads and needed centerbolt valve covers to go with them. To answer ur question valve covers should only take 10-15 mins to take off and the intake proble 20-30 maybe. I dont really think gloss black looks anything close to stock look yea i know they are both black but put them side by side they dont even compare. My car is red and black theme and since the engine bay is red i thought painting them red would be way to much. Go T thats a nice lookin ride u got there where in omaha are u at?
