this looks really good...

do people make inserts for this, like chrome or polished aluminum?

Yes. They come in tons of colors too, and you dont have to paint because they are stickers

they have lots of different vinyl decals for the side letters, ram air hood stickers etc etc. check them out.

Yes...AFTERTHOUGHTS AUTO makes them..[they are a sponsor]..I have just received my Stainless Steel ' PONTIAC ' inserts.....very nice...............they also sell sticker/decal inserts for alot less $.

I bought some 1/16 pin striping tape from the auto store with masking tape. Then I got a scottbrite pad to roughen the lettering. Then I started outlining the lettering which really isn’t that hard with a new razor blade. After about an hour I had everything outlined so I began taping around the pin stripes with the masking tape for more strength. Then I got my old airbrush gun spraying like it should, which took about an hour. Last I just put three lite coats of Jet Black paint and waited about 20 minutes to peel the tape off. That’s about it. It’s a lot of fun seeing the finished product. I did notice I peel a little to quickly on the left side of the O but that’s an easy fix. Thanks guys I hoped you all liked it.
