Default Paint Spilled On Car

Not sure how this happened but went out to the garage this morning and paint was spilled on the side of my car more specific on the door and fender . Still working on trying to figure out how this happened hte whole (it just fell over from a shelf theory doesn't sound right to me either). But anyways not sure what I should do to get it off? Was cleaning it with paint thinner and it didn't seem to be hurting the original finish but stopped after a while because I was afraid of the thinner taking off the original clear. What do you guys think? The thinner SEEMS safe but so did parking my car in the garage until recently .

yeah do that. dont leave the paint thinner on there very long.. and the longer you leave the paint on there the harder it is to get off.

What kind of paint?

House paint? Latex / Enamel?? If so try "Goof Off".

Automotive? Solvent based?? Mostly likely SOL . . .

would claybar work for that? Or is it mostly just good for overspray?

Have you pissed a woman off recently? Sounds like something one would do.
